On Monday (June 1st), the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Alor Regency held a ceremony to commemorate Pancasila Day in the courtyard of the BPS office. The solemn ceremony was attended by all BPS employees.
The ceremony was officiated by Mr. Matheus Justus Dopong, Acting Head of the General Affairs Sub-Division of BPS Alor Regency, and led by the master of ceremonies, Mr. Yohanes Albert Bernadus Nggadas.
During the ceremony, the master of ceremonies read a written mandate from the Head of the Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP), Mr. Yudian Wahyudi.
The summary of the mandate emphasized:
1️⃣ This year's theme, "Pancasila Unites the Nation, Foundation for World Peace," emphasizes the relevance of Pancasila's noble values in maintaining internal integrity and fostering lasting peace globally.
2️⃣ Pancasila is the nation's "moral anchor" amidst global uncertainty, technological disruption, and current geopolitical dynamics.
3️⃣ Pancasila must be implemented as a living ideology, not merely a historical text or mere decoration. The younger generation plays a crucial role as guardians of the future.
4️⃣ All elements, including policymakers, are entrusted with bringing social justice to all levels of society, including the smallest, and combating intolerance and radicalism.
